Effortless Home Mobility: British-Built Stair Solutions

Acorn Stairlifts are British-built and have been designed and manufactured to travel on a single rail track that is fitted to the stairs, not the wall, so there is no messy and disruptive structural work, or drilling into masonry and plaster. They are controlled either by a toggle on the arm of the chair, or by remote control and can fit most staircases with the Acorn 130 needing only 26 inches and Acorn 180 needs only 27.5 inches to ensure the customer can swivel around comfortably.

Features

  • Fits quickly and easily to the stairs, not the wall
  • Requires no structural changes to your home
  • Affordable and reliable with low running costs
  • Slimline and folds away conveniently when not in use
  • Optional hinged rail designed to eliminate any trip or hazard

Safety, Precision, Peace of Mind

Stairlifts are extremely safe when installed by professionally competent persons. Acorn stairlifts are manufactured to the highest standard and all Acorn employed Engineers are trained to the highest standards.
All of Acorn’s stairlifts have been independently tested and certified to comply with the newest European safety standard for stairlifts and can hold up to 159kg (25s) (350lb).

Once you’ve decided to get a stairlift, the next step is choosing the correct model for you. This will depend on your home (whether your staircase is straight or curved), and your own personal circumstances. Each stairlift is tailor-made to fit individual needs and requirements. Trained surveyors will carry out an assessment to ensure the right stairlift is quoted for and can be fitted in your home.
